Important Update – Paritata B1 Trust SGM: New Date and Time
(Saturday, 16 May 2026)

Tēnā koutou,

Due to the postponement of the SGM caused by the weather on the original date, we can now confirm a new date and time for the meeting.

• The Special General Meeting (SGM) will go ahead on Saturday, 16 May 2026.

• The farm visit will no longer take place. Trustees will confirm a future date for this.

SGM Location:
Distinction Hamilton Hotel & Conference Centre
100 Garnett Avenue, Te Rapa, Hamilton

Time: 12:30pm – 5:00pm (updated)

We understand this may be disappointing, particularly the cancellation of time on the whenua, and we appreciate your understanding. These changes allow us to come together safely while ensuring the important work of the SGM can continue.

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday.

Owners are invited to attend the Special General Meeting (SGM) on Saturday, 16 May 2026, from 12:30pm.

All members of the whānau connected to our whenua are welcome to attend. Please note that only shareholders listed on the Māori Land Court Paritata B1 Trust owners list are eligible to vote.

Kai will be provided.

SGM Agenda (facilitated by an independent facilitator, Hayden Potaka):

1. Confirmation of 2024/25 financials and the 2024 AGM minutes

The purpose of this agenda item is to present 2024/25 financial and 2024 AGM minutes for approval. Please note that these items were unable to be passed at the 2025 AGM as quorum was not met.

2. Nominations and elections

The purpose of this agenda item is to appoint two new Trustees to the Paritata b1 Trust, replacing the outgoing Trustees Pape Barrett and Nora Palmer.

3. Feedback and Confirmation of Trust Policy on Partition Requests

The purpose of this agenda item is to seek feedback and confirmation of the draft policy and process the Trust will follow when a partition request is received.
