Invitation to Governance Training and Shareholder Hui
(Saturday, 22 August 2026)

Tēnā koutou e ngā uri o Paritata B1 Trust,

The Trustees of Paritata B1 Trust warmly invite shareholders to join us on Saturday 22 August for a day of learning, connection, and kōrero.

• Governance Training 10.00am – 4.00pm

The Trustees will be participating in governance training facilitated by Huiarau Stewart from Moko Consultancy, with support from Te Puni Kōkiri (TPK). The session will cover Governance 101 and is designed to strengthen our understanding of good governance and our responsibilities as Trustees.

There is space available for shareholders and beneficiaries who are interested in attending the training. If you would like to take part, please let us know when you RSVP.

• Kai and Shareholder Hui 4.00pm – 5.00pm

Following the training, we invite shareholders to join us for kai and an informal catch-up with the Trustees.

This is an opportunity for us to update you on some of the work currently underway and the direction we are considering for the Trust. Topics will include:

• Our intentions to explore extending the lease arrangements for the Trust and whenua.

• A review of the Trust’s Education, Kaumātua, and Tangihanga policies.

• Other current Trust matters and priorities.

• An opportunity to ask questions, share whakaaro, and engage directly with the Trustees.

We value your input and encourage you to attend if you are able. Your whakaaro will help inform the future direction of our Trust.

All members of the whānau connected to our whenua are welcome to attend. Please note that only shareholders listed on the Māori Land Court Paritata B1 Trust owners list will be recorded.
